1. How can I open a trading account with Ong First Tradition?

2. What are the account opening requirements?

You need to be above 21 years of age.  The documents required are listed below:

3. What are the additional requirements for non face-to-face account opening and verification?

For non face-to-face account opening, additional Documents required include the latest utilities bill and bank statement.

All documents must be certified true copy by one of the following:

- Any related company or representatives of Ong First Tradition residing in the customer’s country of residence

- Any branches, subsidiaries of Ong First Tradition in customer’s country of residence

- Notary public in the customer’s country of residence

4. How long does it take to process the account opening?

The normal processing time is between 3 to 4 business days, upon the receipt of all necessary documents and the clearing of the initial deposit.

5. What is the trading limit?

Account Statement

 

1. Where can I view my daily account statement?

You will receive daily statements via email.  You may also view your daily statement via our website at www.ongfirst.com; click on login, followed by Ong E-statement.  You will need to enter your UserID and password to login.

2. Will interests be charged to my account if it is in deficit?

Any deficit currencies will be charged interest on a daily basis.

3. Will Ong First Tradition do auto conversion to cover the deficit?

Ong First Tradition is unable to do any conversion without the client’s consent. Clients may call the Forex Desk at +65 62271788 for the latest conversion rates.

Top-Up and Withdrawal

 

1. How do I top-up my Ong First Tradition Account?

You may top-up your account via one of the following means:

  • Cheque
    • Please cross the cheque, make it payable to “Ong First Tradition Tradition Pte Ltd” and deposit it to our Standard Chartered Bank account.
    • Kindly indicate your Ong First Tradition account number and contact number on the reverse side of the cheque.
    • Please fax a copy of the deposit slip to our Customer Service department at (65) 6634 3063.
    • You also may mail or deliver the cheque to our office.

  • Telegraphic Transfer (TT)
    • TT the funds to Ong First Tradition Tradition Pte Ltd in SGD or USD.

  • Please note we do not accept Cash as deposit.

2. Can I use other currencies to top-up my account?

3. How do I make a withdrawal?

You can request for withdrawals through our Credit department; requests received after the cut-off time of 11:00am (Singapore time) will be processed the next working day.

4. How long does Ong First Tradition take to process withdrawals?

  • SGD and USD:
    • Withdrawal requests received before 11:00am (Singapore time) will be processed within the same day.
    • Withdrawal requests received after 11:00am (Singapore time) will be processed the next business day.
  • Currencies other than SGD and USD:
    • Withdrawal requests will be processed within 1 to 2 business days.
